computational_constructs_china_bookComputational Constructs: Architectural Design, Logic and Theory

Following a Symposium I organized in 2009 of active students and alumnae of the MIT Computation Group, I was approached by the World Association of Chinese Architects (WACA) to put together a book of some of the leading theories and practice at the time. In concert with fellow alum and WACA member Shouheng Chen, and a contingent of Chinese editors we selected, edited, and translated 14 papers organized into three sections: Theory, Practice, and Academia. Published by the prestigious China Architecture & Building Press, I was invited to China in 2010 for the book release party and annual WACA Conference at which I gave both a keynote presentation and workshop for WACA’s computation group.
